Clinical Trials

What are Clinical Trials?

Clinical Trials entails the research of new medication and treatment to treat current health problems.  All medication needs to go through highly regulated research proses that consist of different study phases.  During each of these phases the safety, efficacy, and tolerability are tested.  Clinical trials are very important to develop better and more effective treatments.

Why sould I consider participating in Clinical Trials?

There are many benefits to participating in clinical research trials.  The most important is that you will receive new, state of the art, medication to treat illness, at no cost to you.  Additionally, all medical assessments, tests, and examinations will be performed for free.  People who therefore do not have the financial means to fund their treatment will now have the opportunity to receive medical care.  Participants will also help the population as a whole, as they will help in developing new and effective medication to be made available.
